The Smile Makers Whitsundays team is here to accommodate your needs. We will make sure you feel comfortable and relaxed in our surroundings while receiving the high-quality dental care you need to improve your oral health.
Jayda – Dental Assistant
Jayda was born here in the Whitsundays and is a long term local. She has recently begun studying her Certificate III in dental assisting and looks forward to advancing her dentistry knowledge further. She enjoys caring for patients and helping them feel happy and confident with their smiles.
When outside of the practice, you will find her going for walks along the boardwalk, catching up with family and friends or lounging around at the beach.
Abbey – Dental Assistant
Abbey is from the UK and was born in a small town called Whitehaven. In 2023 she began travelling most of South East Asia and Indonesia before arriving In Australia. Her favourite Destination was Ko Tao in Thailand. Abbey has worked as an assistant in Dentistry for over 8 months and enjoys taking great care of her patients as well as having a good chat!
In her spare time, she loves exploring the Whitsundays, exploring local cafes/ restaurants and relaxing on the beach.
Priyah – Dental Assistant
Priyah is from a rural town called Richmond. She has been a local here in the Whitsundays for the last 6 years; She has started her dental assisting career with Smilemakers and is currently studying her certificate III in dental assisting.
When Priyah is out of the practice you will find her hanging out with friends & family, or soaking up the sun on the weekend.
Rhiannon – Dental Assistant
Rhiannon is a Whitsundays local, having lived here all her life. She started at smile makers in January and loves being part of the smile makers team.
When she isn’t at work, Rhiannon can be found with her friends and family making the most of the outdoors camping, bush walking and being at the beach.
April – Practice Manager
April was raised in Noosa Heads on the Sunshine Coast. Her family made the move up to Airlie Beach and April followed them. She has been with Smile Makers for 8 years. April is hoping to further her knowledge in dentistry by completing her Certificate IIII in Dental Assisting this year.
In her spare time, you will find April hanging with her family, going to the beach or enjoying a nice cold beer at the pub.
Ketaki- Practice Owner / Accountant
Ketaki is the heart and soul of the practice, you may not see her much but she works behind the scenes to keep the place going. Ketaki Completed her Accounting degree in India and is using it to good use for Smile Makers.
In Ketaki’s spare time you will find her with a paintbrush in her hand creating some beautiful art work and also looking after her and Prashant’s beautiful Daughter
